Travel Tips and Favorites for Anxious Travelers

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE traveling. But I also love structure, and traveling can really take me out of my groove which really messes me up. Here’s what I bring with me to be sure that I feel comfortable and confident wherever I am going.

Luggage: Beis Luggage is my absolute favorite, so incredibly designed with amazing pockets for everything. It’s also super sleek and durable - favorite luggage I have ever owned. I also have the cosmetics case, but cosmetics cases from Nordstrom Rack/TJ Maxx are also A1. On the plane, I use this turtle neck pillow if I need to sleep (so comfy and way better than regular ones!) and carry my Cuyana tote - zips, fits everything, and looks chic af. P.S: these Sony headphones block LITERALLY all noise so be sure to splurge!

Food: I always look at the schedule for what we’re doing, but I know I can never control it. For that reason, I bring my favorite snacks, which are currently Chomps and these Atkins bars that my grandma used to eat (they taste amazing, promise I am not dieting!). I also bring my Brita water bottle so I can be sure I am hydrated wherever I go (filters water through the straw!) and Starbucks coffee packs so that I can just ask for Hot water and keep it moving.

Wellness: Staying hydrated and regular is almost impossible while traveling so it’s CRUCIAL for me to bring electrolyte packs (for the plane and ESP if u are drinking!) Also, dehydration brings about constipation, and so I always bring a few packs of Smooth Move tea to drink at night so I can feel less bloated on trips in case that happens. Don’t forget Advil, Nausene, and Band Aids just in case!

Sleep: I am a PSYCHO sleeper, so I always bring my own stuff to feel comfortable. This includes a portable white noise machine, 3d eye mask to protect my lashes, and of course, a silk pillowcase!

Packing tips: I also plan out my outfits based on what I am doing, and make sure that those are written out and taken care of.
